Comment:
What do you give to members of your CD Exchange when they already listen to Death Cab, Tom Waits, Grandaddy, Cat Power, etc? In my case, the Power Pop I've been finding in the "Dollar Disc" box of the nearest used record store. The keepers in my collection are harder-edged than what I'd come to know as Beatle-esque, jangly Power Pop; I like acts that sound more like STP. "Expo 70" is a nod to a World's Fair I saw on TV at an impressionable age. I loved the lunatic architecture, ambitious themes, and cultural mishmash. Are the newer fairs any good?Feedback:
i dig brendan benson.
