Comment:
Pure nostalgia mix ca. '78 - '80. Stones to Devo blatently ripped off from Mr. Caps Lock.
Feedback:
very cool. esp. love the echo, furs, siouxsie, buzzcocks and jam picks.
Excellent.
yes yes, this could be a tape from my youth,
This is SUPER GREAT! What a trip down memory lane... and then some!
Crenshaw, Buzzcocks...great, great stuff.
Damn! Did every single person on this site grow up at EXACTLY THE SAME TIME???? ;-) Superb. Gotta do one of these myself one of these days.
Ahhh, the Specials...g'wan ya rude boy.
I'm with the swede-Lally-saaf troika...looks like MY '78-'80...
amazing how gnu wave was a great awakening and, today, a great bonding experience for so many AOTM-ers. had to go scurrying back to the collection to hear the buzzcocks and go-gos trax, i'm still chasing the bunnymen and you've got to love everything else - ramones, stones and elvis c. trax are among my very fave by theirs. bravo as always and happy new year jim - any interesting mail?
I too love the sound of breaking glass . . .
Looks great, Jim. If I were older than 9 years old at the end of this period, I'm sure I would have listened to this at the time...
