did you ever hear the speeding train by the van pelt, before the version by the lapse? it is in my opinion much better, much more emotional. it's on a 7" on the art monk label that i have. soooooo gooood.

Why yes, I also have that 7". I believe it's on white vinyl. I heard the Lapse version first and have been more partial to it ever since but that's not to say the Van Pelt version isn't good either.
had i seen this earlier i would have left equally positive feedback :) but you probably already know that
