Comment:

During the Baroque period (1600-1750), the royal courts of Europe became the center of much compositional activity, with composers such as Handel writing music for the entertainment of the aristocracy. The eight repeated chords of Pachelbel's "Canon" still ring in our ears today, and Bach's "Air on the G String" formed the basis of a thousand chillout compilations.
