I really appreciate all of the positive feedback for this mix.Feedback:
Cool mix, great title. I wrote this one down.
Thanks. The title is taken from Judas Priest's Joan Baez cover. She wrote the song about Bob Dylan.
Anyone who has the buzzcocks,John Doe Thing, the Ramones, and X in a mix is someone whose record collection I'd love to browse and borrow from!!
who do you have to kill to get mix of the week?! just kidding. there is osme great stuff here. rock on.
Excellent mix.
The Soft Machine leading into Hendrix is genius. And it's great to see Vomit Launch remembered.

Thanks, Dan. I thought that beyond The UFO Club/Swinging London connotations of the Soft Machine to Hendrix segue, that both songs just fit together really well, musically and mood wise.
It's a shame that a lot of really good 80s underground bands like Vomit Launch are virtually unrecognized today, even in the underground. Aside from a lot of mostly really horrible mainstream music, the 80s were a time of some really incredible music in the underground. And apart from the bigger bands and the hardcore scene, most of these bands are unappreciated.
