Comment:

1. Vast - Turquoise
This is an internet release. It may be featured on their next CD. The production is a little muddy, but that may be because of the file quality.

2. Hoobastank - Out of contol
Not a big fan of hoobastank, but this song really grabbed me. I have since checked out their other stuff, and they are really like what incubus SHOULD have been.

3. Denali - Hold your Breath
I saw Denali open for the Deftones recently. Holy shit, what a great band. The singer is this little blond thing with such an amazing voice. She plays guitar too. It is her and 3 guys.

4. Lamb - This could be heaven
The singer for LAMB has the sweetest voice. It was hard to pick what track to put on here.

5. The Get Up Kids - Close to me
A cover song, originally done by the Cure. This is the song I put on to get motivated while housecleaning

6. Thomas Newman - Swim Down
This is from the movie "Finding Nemo". Yes, the movie with the goldfish. The soundtrack is spectacular. Thomas Newman is Randy Newman's Brother.

7. The Get Up Kids - I'll Catch you
I am breaking a cardinal rule here by including 2 songs by the same artist. But I thought that the songs were so drastically different that it was ok.

8. Badmarsh &Shri - The Air I Breathe
I love this song. It was mixed by Kid Loco - one of my favorites, and is more of a Kid Loco song than a B&S song.

9. Stina Nordenstam - When Debbies back from texas
Stina is an Enigma. No one knows much about her. She is a waif in appearance as well as voice, but her songs are so damn SPOOKY.

10. Bonobo - terrapin
A Terrapin is a web-footed turtle. This song is my ideal chill out. Perhaps relaxing on a beach in southeast asia.

11. Cirrus - Boomerang
Unfortunately the only good song on the Cirrus Disc.

12. RJD2 - Chicken Bone Circuit
Yes, he reiminds me of DJ Shadow. But that Is a good thing. DJ shadow circa 1996 maybe. It's a fantastic bluesy hip hop album and everyone should buy it.

13. Billy Talent - Voices of Violence
Not really punk, not really metal. Like AFI meets system of a down. Fantastic melodies, from CANADIANS no less. Great album all the way through.

14. Chevelle - Family System
A lot better than people give them credit for. Great production, very heavy. Check them out.

15. Laurie Anderson - O Superman
Such a chilling song, but I actually heard it out of context of September 11th. I was kinda hoping people would listen to the song on its own merit before linking it to the attacks, but what can you do.

16. Poe - If you were here
Do not listen to this song if you are sad. It will make you cry. Lot.

17. There is no track 17. Really. Don't go looking for one, because there is none. Honest.
