My revised 2003 mix, which was substantially different enough to warrant a second posting (at least it was to me). Not only is the track listing more in line with what I was looking for, but the flow of the mix as a whole is much improved. So these are, more or less (the Wyatt, Nick Cave and R Thompson songs are arguable, but close enough), my favorite songs from my 21 favorite albums of this year. FYI, the Shins is my favorite album and the Ryan Adams is #21.Feedback:
I agree with you on a lot of these picks. I really like 1-7 especially, and OutKast, Stripes kick much ass too.

Lots of good stuff here, although I think Cave's song rates as one of his weakest though I know he rates it most highly. Ha! Just used same Spiritualized Track.
Love this! I was mesmerized the first time I heard Wyatt's version of Raining in my Heart, put me on another Buddy Holly kick.
