I made this tape in 1995 to include in a Happy Birthday letter I was writing to a long-ago, well-remembered girlfriend of a couple of summers (1980 & 81). Her initials are LJC, so I used them to make up the title. She speaks fluent French, so I threw on a good bit of Edith Piaf. I knew that she was married, and I had no hopes of rekindling a relationship, so I put it out of my mind (though I thought about her all the time I played this...A year later, I discovered that she was seperated from her husband, so I called her. She told me how much she loved the tape, and that after a year, she needed another copy (which I gladly dubbed). I have since made her 8 other tapes in the "Looping Joyous Circles" series (which I will archive here for posterity), and this past July, we became engaged!
