Comment:
These are the last of the songs I could find in my collection concerning Elvis before descending into the maelstrom of gloopy Tribute Songs sung by Impersonators....for those of u inclined check out Elvis Impersonator Blues (Helvis Records)and revel in Peter Singh's 'Elvis On The Phone'..or Bruce Channel's 'The King is Free'...enjoy!Feedback:
a pretty nice one too
a superb vol 2
Yes. Sweet.
Sweet tribute. I like version 1 as well, but this one works more conventionally. I love many of these songs. I think Paul Simon's lyric "the mississippi delta was shining like a national guitar" is one of the most poetic lines about music in America ever written!
Great collection. Margo Timmins always sounds amazing when the Junkies do "BM Revisited" live, catch the show if you ever have the means. Cheers! -AF.
Damn you do fine work. I've never been a big fan of Elvis or the mythology around him (I think I'm one of a handful of American music fanatics with no desire to see Graceland), but this totally works for me. And you start a mix with Ann Margret and I'm gonna get all tingley.
