Comment:

"The Way We Get By" was on my Best of 2002 mix as well, but it's such a great song I had to put it on this one as well (it came out as a single in 2003). "Stay Loose" was definitely an album ender. I considered putting "Farewell Transmission" first, but at 7.5 minutes, I didn't want it to weigh the mix down. "Hey Ya" was originally toward the beginning of the mix. I moved it down when I had the (genius) idea of putting "Knives From Bavaria" after it. "The Air Near My Fingers" is one of my top 20 songs ever. "Anthems ..." almost didn't make it on the cut because I forgot how great it is. The more I listen to "Milkshake," the more I genuinely like it. RIP Johnny Cash.
