Comment:
This one could have had a few subtitles..."Famous unwinds after a long day"..."Famous finds a home for songs he's been humming for months"..."Famous sums up the fall of 2003"...and so on. Billy Bragg brings back so many memories. that tune came out when I was in grade seven, when my buddies and I thought it was the funniest video we'd ever seen. Doesn't hurt that it co-incided with sexual awakening I'm sure. And I think the descision to lead off with a pair of 80's tunes was my way of saying that it's been long enough, we don't have to be afraid of the "Me Decade" anymore...go dust off those cassettes and re-embrace your neon coloured clothes. Thanks for listening, Cheers! -AF.
Feedback:
Well, it's not an all X mix, like it was before, but it's still got some charm. My roommate and I always sing "Sexuality" at full volume when we're drunk. What a great, great song.
Very nice choices-- and I'm still laughing about the title of this one; if I were younger and the type of person who writes on bathroom walls-- I would write that. Thanks for the music and the laugh.
You've been humming Norah Jones?! Oye. For the record, I would say the funniest video ever is Twisted Sister's "We're not Gonna Take it," but that's just me. This is the kinda mix that everyone should make at least once a year- a catch-all for the stuff that mattered, but never found it's place. Out.
