these are greatly known unknown bands. still good.
Right on with the Modest Mouse- if you haven't checked it out yet their lead singer, did a side project - Ugly Cassanova- "Sharpen your teeth". Good stuff- check out the track "Barnacles"
these bands are not greatly known. these bands may have rather large followings around a certain group of people, none of whom listen to the radio, but for the majority of people who have grown up on mtv and alternative rock stations, they have no clue who these bands are.
