Men covering songs we usually associate with female vocalists.
For women covering men see Deja Vu

Tim Curry is a singer? Holy crap- Pennywise the psychotic clown found a voice! Some great songs on here, esp. Cake + Radiohead. Goldfinger... ergh. + though I've never heard that Vandals cover, holy crap, I want to now. Nice work. Out.

Nice one, saw Rolf Harris live a couple of years ago, he's got a weird catalogue of songs covered and is a real entertainer.

Great concept and excellent execution! I didn't even know Rolf Harris was making records into the Divinyls era.

John Wesley Harding does a version of "Like a Prayer" that stopped me in my shoes...definitely worth checking out if you like folksy sorta stuff. But Wow. I love mixes like this-- eye-opening, creative, and it looks like a surprisingly nice flow. That's hard to do with these theme deals, but I'm sure you know that. Very well done, to be sure.

I really love the concept, and the finds are real nice. "I Touch Myself" must be...interesting. I agree with Minnesota Sorta Nice - the JWH cover of Like A Prayer is top notch.

Fabulous!! I did something similar to this on my role reversal mix, and suprisingly we didn't duplicate any songs expect for Radiohead's. I can't believe I left off Evan Dando/the Lemonheads, since he's/they've covered at least 5 songs originally done by females (Stone Ponys, Kirsty McColl, Whitney Houston and Suzanne Vega)

That Klaus Nomi number has to be waaaaaaaaay out there! And I had completely forgotten about Pseudo Echo!!! As always, Miss C., you are amazing.
