Comment:
This is a short eclectic mix of Country Music. The cd has a small portion of what has been recorded by these artists. All the artists except Dwight Yoakam and Calexico were highly influential and helped music transcend former boundaries. Mainly an introduction to the various artist on the mix, for someone who refuses to listen to country music.Feedback:
That is an awesome song by Johnny Cash. Like all the Doc Watson. Have you heard Guy Clark?
Nice. Lots of favorites here, but I especially like Billy Joe Shaver's "Georgia On a Fast Train."
Excellent intro. (I'm not sure I'd let Paul McCartney in through the country door myself, but I imagine it works here.)
I dig it.
Very cool. Love the Chet Atkins/Les Paul track especially.
