a hip hop mix i made for people who don't listen to hip hop (sound cliche enough yet?). it's still a work in progress. while i like it over all and like all the different mixes of hip hop along with some rap i still feel it's incomplete. comments, insults, and suggestions encouraged.Feedback:
yah, I'd be one of these people who like some hip-hop but don't listen to it regularly... but prodigy & arrested development & old school like grand master flash are really good picks... really like that ice cube pick too!!
I definatly dig this mix... You go all over the place, but generally grab the best cuts from all over the place. You might look into adding either a common track, or maybe an early tribe called quest track.
Also, if you are into the whole instrumental artists thing, you might drop a DJ Shadow or RJD2 track on it, just to show people the possibilities of what a man, a turntable, and a sampler can do... :)
