Comment:
Another one of these Anti-ClearChannel mixes. I realized that I can't take listening to the radio in my car anymore, so my glove compartment is full of mixes I've made over the past couple of years. Grrrrr. If I hear "Take the Long Way Home" or "Take it Easy" or "White Rabbit" one more time I'm gonna lose it. I mean if you think about all the songs that they could play, like three decades of freaking songs, and hear the same Supertramp song twice or three times in one day, isn't there something wrong? Yes. Here's some songs that you won't hear often (except maybe the Jim Croce, or maybe the Zombies depending on where you live). Not to slight some of the songs, they are good. My dad laughs about the fact that the same three Supertramp songs get so much play...he says "they weren't even this popular in 1979." Enjoy.Feedback:
I feel your pain and dig your tunes.
hey... terrific mix, very clasy! I was wondering though, isn't Cinnamon Girl just a Neil Young song? It's on "Everyone Knows this is Nowhere". Huge Kudos for the Traffic and Al Stewart!
How right you are "Daze" Weeks. Guess that got mixed up...when I downloaded it, the artist thing said "Buffalo Springfield," and I didn't think much of it, Neil Young being in that band and all.
"Liar, Liar" and "Come on Down to My Boat" are great selections. Agree with you about radio nowadays - don't do it - listen to mixes instead.
