The sun was shining today.... was hurting my eyes too cuz it hadn't been out in days... but it was still freezing, heh. I've done a couple of mixes like this with some of these songs. They totally fit when I'm driving around on a sunny day too.

We are not worthy of your versatility. Love the Janis and hadn't thought about the John Denver tune in years. Two songs that pop out at me when I see this mix are I Live For The Sun by the Sunrays and California Sun by the Rivieras. I must try the Jason Marz version of Summer Breeze.

Fun stuff - for some reason that Mungo jerry song never gets old for me. Although I can't imagine that Jason M cut being good - although I guess I shouldn't judge until I hear it.

hemizen-I'm taking your advice and making a second mix with Sunray's song, and The Rivieras..I think Dick Dale did a version of California Sun, too.
Note to Dale-ThisIsPop!: The Jason M. track is an acoustic,live version and it is really good, kinda in the Keller Williams vein.

What I know I like. Type O Negative did a remarkably weird and spooky (goth) version of Summer Breeze. Good if you ever want to darken things up a bit...
