i had planned on just making a disc of my favorite richman songs. but the unordered order i was putting the songs into started to look like something to me. so - life according to jonathan richman! i'm particularly fond of this, because mr. richman is a perpetual teenager. the guy will never age. he'll always be slightly naive and entirely loveable. and perhaps that's something that we try to grasp on to as we grow older. the surprise of being young.
