Comment:

It's a bit random, and I'm still not totally convinced about the order. The idea was to have some old songs, some new songs, but all songs that I love from many different sources. It's a little downbeat in places, which is what I'm going for. Some odd tracks: Another Kind Of Blue is a track on an album I bought ages ago called the New York Jazz Guerilla vol1; T. Williams is a solo piano track by Chris Opperman (Oppy) who I found through Mike Keneally from Zappa's last band; All That Future is from a CD called Material Intonarumori which is a strange hip-hop beast with a few interesting things on it.

"Hurt" is on his last album "American Recordings IV--The Man Comes Around"

Nice mix, by the way...my favorite Ryan Adams song! So sad that he had to cancel his tour dates.

Yeah, from the interview in NME, it sounds like he did himself a pretty nasty injury. Maybe they should start padding orchestra pits, what with the number of accidents that happen there. In fact, Zappa had a off-stage tumble that nearly killed him, right?
