In the words of Drew Carey: "Nothing's corny if it gets you some." I don't think anyone ever appreciates anything, either because they just don't get it, or because "it" was expected + comes off as typical rather than extraordinary. Lower your expectations of others- then you'll find that they'll appreciate everything. Out.
