Nice theme with some stand out tracks. The Pogues one especially. Also Anti Nowhere League, one of my faves.

Very cool. There are lots of tracks here I don't know, but the tracks I do know are all first rate.

Excellent... I was planning a similar mix, but I'd forgotten about the Intaferon track... it must be 20 years since I heard that! :-D

A great run of tracks, start-to-finish Lancelot.., at least the tracks I'm very familiar with. Great Newell. Hefner bookends...

Yeah, I really like this..not sure Ghost Town is about London though, still very nice and means I don't have to do one now!!

Glad you all are diggin' this. "Ghost Town" was written in response to race-related riots in Brixton in 1981.

....I woz just reading: Ghost Town is an excellent snapshot of a country at the end of its tether, highlighting COVENTRY'S rapid social, economic and psychological desolation during Thatcher's first two years in power, and it proved extremely prophetic when just months later, several major cities experienced rioting on an unprecedented scale...'

Also, English Scheme by The Fall is set in Cambridge.

In no way does this deter from yr mix which I think quite brilliant ! I tried to do a London Mix ages ago and failed miserably! Keep up the mixes, I always keep my eyes out for them.

Thanks for the clarification, Dom. I've replaced those two tracks. Fortunately, there is no shortage of London songs.
