R.I.P.
Feedback:
LOL! This is fucking brilliant! (apologies to Bono).
I love the intermix of songs and routines, great choices. One of my all time fave Zappa tunes, Patti's best song, also great Waits, DKs, Fuller, Cab & Leary... the thrash metal interlude brings me back to high school days. Another fine tribute, Dom!

Thank you masked man! Great job as always - this is a nifty concept and excellent delivery. You never cease to amaze me with your mixes. You hit all the stops with this one. If you were truely in the Lenny Bruce spirit you'd follow this amazing mix with another comprised soley of you retelling all the hassles and minutia of making this one. After seeing the Phil Leeds cut I have a craving to hear a little Frank Gallop as well.
This is absolutely amazing! Another one I'd love to get a copy of.
i love that nico song, and the concept for the mix was great.
My hero. "That Joe Louis was some fighter!" This is a most original series of mixes. Now we just need ya to get to CD! Or 8-Track?
Really first-rate. Another success!
Super cool! I think you've inspired me to do a Lenny Bruce mix soon. He was finally pardoned in NY - only 35 years later. Ah well, it took the Catholic Church over 300 years to pardon Galileo.
what sean said
Ah Lenny...we hardly knew ya. What a great guy, and a great, well rounded mix. This past summer I found a paperback of "the Complete Lenny Bruce" all written verbatim from live shows. Fantastic.
i must say, this is fantastic...i feel inspired to do something akin to it, perhaps with a different actor...
What Stripey said!
A classic example of the ART of the mix.
Fantastic! This really seems to capture the right vibe for Lenny Bruce.
Outstanding! There's a reason for the "blazing" part in the term "trailblazer", and this guy felt all of it....I guess, according to what Sean said, that the state of NY is almost ten times more relevant than the ignorant, lumbering hulk of "the church." (No caps, they don't deserve it. LENNY does.)
What can I say that hasn't already been said here? Another worthy subject of tribute, and an exceptional mix with which to do it. Kudos.
Great job. Just great.
Another great tribute. Lenny has been having a pretty good year - first he gets pardoned by New York State, then he gets a DOM tribute. Maybe sainthood next?
It's all been said below - this looks like a true work of art! You must have been giggling with glee when you finished this. ps - I'm loving the Audrey tapes. THanks again for those. Let me know when something of mine appeals to you.
