great stuff - and you cracked me up with the fancy pronunciations. I really like the pedro and apples picks. Unforntunately you still gotta spend the night in the box.

Awesome...a Cool Hand Luke comp! But Superstar is a Carpenters cover song, not Luther Van.

Several great cuts by several of my favorite bands. Plus Cool Hand Luke is just an incredible movie - "Why you got to go and say fifty eggs for? Why not thirty-five or thirty-nine?" -- "I thought it was a nice round number"

Hmm...Actually, after doing some research, it was covered by both Luther Vandross and the Carpenters, but written and originally performed by Leon Russell

Amazing. Neutral Milk Hotel, Sonic Youth, Flaming Lips, Yo La Tengo, Cat Power, Eels, Velvet Underground, Husker Du and Built To Spill especially. Phenominal job.

Bonnie Bramlett co-wrote it with Leon Russell. I guess it would be a Delany and Bonnie cover, though.
