Here's fun for those of you looking for fun new ways of making a mix tape: Go through your entire record/CD/Tape collection, write down the names of all the best songs on little slips of paper. Put all the papers in a box/hat/bucket/trunk/etc, pick them out at random. Record as you go. This practically guarantees an ecelectic mix (unless all you own is Slayer & Napalm Death records), and unless you're drunk while writing the songs on the slips, it's all good tunage. This was my first attempt at this style, about 4 yrs ago (before I got my CD burner)...many more since, not a clunker in the batch.
