Few outfits nailed a tropical R&B groove better than Harry Wayne "KC" Casey, partner Richard Finch, and their dance-happy Sunshine Band, which became a cornerstone of the "Miami Sound." The band, which numbered up to a dozen onstage, ruled dance floors with a feel-good vibe and horn-driven blasts of infectious funk.
