Comment:
What If, Part 2. We're now somewhere in 1971. Lennon released his consummate Imagine album. It is near blasphemy to hack that masterpiece up for a fictional Beatles album - then heretic I. McCartney released the decent Ram in the Spring & should have left it at that. Not willing to leave well enough alone, he released Wings first album, Wild Life, just in time for the holiday shopping season. Yuck. Neither Ringo nor George put out records in '71, but I'll cull stuff from George's timeless All Things Must Pass from the year before, and we'll try to find something half decent for Ringo from Sentimental Journey. The singles: 1. Imagine b/w Isn't It a Pity; 2. Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey b/w You Always Hurt the One You Love; 3. Jealous Guy b/w Smile Away; 4. I'd Have You Any Time b/w Crippled Inside. The title of this album was taken from Lennon's book A Spaniard in the Works (spelling of "Cotten" as Lennon had it). The cover photo is a pic of the building which appears prominently on Ringo's Sentimental Journey LP.

Feedback:
This is an interesting concept you've got going here, and I especially like this "album". While I'm not given to making track suggestions, I would prefer Dear Boy to Heart of the Country.
