Comment:

originally made as a driving tape for an upcoming long, late-night haul, i decided to attach a boy meets girl plot to it when 75% of the songs i originally picked started to go together as such. first couple songs set up our lonely, down-trodden protaganist, until he sees that girl walking in through the out door wearing her raspberry beret...errr...side one is the courtship/fall in love (together now...awww) side. side b is where things start to go awry...y'know, lies, deceit, scandal...things turn bitter, and then mournful, and end with a vaguely optimistic ending...that maybe, *just maybe*, they'll work it out. but we'll never know. just like the movies! honest to pete, this has no factual basis. any resemblance to persons living or dead is purely coincidental. it might sound kind of hokey written out, but it was rather fun to make and it's perky and hummable and should serve it's purpose pretty well.
