Comment:

It's a Frankenmix devoted entirely to the Johns! Woo!
1. The last record I bought was Mink Car, which would explain why I was so heavy with songs from that album on here.
2. The only TMBG song I know of that's "Blues."
3. This song gets me going in the morning, noon, and night! Forget about it!
4. A song involving love AND time travel??!? Rock!
5. The first song of Theirs that I heard. Still a classic.
6. It wasn't a movie, but Tiny Toon Adventures had two little animated shorts with Particle Man and Istanbul serving as the soundtracks. I'm a bit sick of Istanbul.
7. I just picked a song at random that I thought would add to the flow.
8. I changed this rule. I took a song from an album that I love every song on it except this one. I'm hoping It'll grow on me.
9. Well, It's kinda loud for a lullaby, but still...
10. What is funnier than "Boat of Car"??
11. Yeh Yeh is a great song, and not as overplayed as Why Does the Sun Shine? and I am kinda tired of New York City lately.
12. When I was in high school, before I really even cared about TMBG, I designed a single panel comic strip chronicaling the adventures of a disembodied head. Five years later, my buddy from High School and I are at a TMBG concert and I saw this song on an album. I bought it, and I giggled all night long.
13. I'm kinda embarrassed to admit I like NO! as much as I do, this song in particular.
14. SNAIL SHELL!
15. If I'm depressed, I'll listen to this song and wallow in my own emotional rain.
16. Doctor Worm is so happy! I love Happy!
17. 'Look'? Meh. This is as close as I could get. And plus, it's a great song and the only way I could work anything from Lincoln in on here.
18. Until that sad sad day, when They Might Not Be Giants Anymore, This will have to do.
19. Is Elvis alive? Nah, He's probably....ah, well, you get it.
20. My favorite closer for any mix.

1. A song from the last record you bought 2. A blues: not a necessarily a blues record but a song that is labelled (something) blues 3. A song that gets you going in the morning 4. A song that you think is romantic 5. One of the earliest records that you can remember listening to. 6. A song that you discovered from a film 7. A song from your favourite band / artist (go on, pick one - don't give me this `I don't really like one band more than any others' rubbish imagine a desert island and only one artist can soundtrack it - now choose a song!) 8. A song from an artist band that you otherwise don't like, but like this one 9. A Lullaby. 10. A song that makes you laugh / you find funny 11. A really good cover version 12. A song that reminds you of school days 13. A song from an artist that you are embarrassed to admit you like 14. Whatever it is, it's got to be funky 15. A song for those quiet rainy days 16. A song that no matter when you hear it makes you `Feelgood' 17. A song with the word `Look' in the title 18. From a member of the `Dead rockers society' 19. Your favourite Elvis song. (I know it's a narrow field and that every mix will end up having Elvis on it but that's part of the fun/challenge - will we all end up with the same tune or will we have a rich selection?) 20. Wildcard - Hey, just put any song you like on!
