Comment:

Well, this is for sure most of my favorite songs writen by and sometimes about Canadians. No you won't see Shania or Celine on here but this is just a "fun, driving down the #1 Highway, singing along, dashboard drumming" kind of CD. Enjoy!

I can remember camping out at Ozzfest 2002 next to a bunch of Canadians who drove like 2000 miles to be at this concert. They were drunk as shit, and they were playing Bryan Adams music at full blast. I think they got the crap beat out of them...Anyways, it was pretty funny.

I could see that being incredibly annoying. My first concert was Bryon Adams, I was socked, covered in mud but I'll always remember the last song, Summer of '69. That's why I put it on the mix, and why I crank it up whenever I drive from Calgary to Winnipeg. Thanks for your comment!

Yeah, that was a pretty cool song. Actually, there's more to the story. This peticular year at Ozzfest, the venue's campground had a alcohol ban, which of course is anarchy at a metal concert, and these Canadians ( who drove a new Chevy Avalanche with a huge Canadian Flag waving from the back)were one of the few and lucky who managed to sneak 8 cases of beer and whiskey through all the security. I guess they were the only ones havin' fun at the campground, so all the poor sober people took it out on them. Anyways, don't forget Rush, Starz and Triumph on your next mix. Cheers!

Now that truely sucks! I'm sure if you'd asked they would have shared, LOL! I also forgot Chillwack, 54-40, April Wine, etc. Trust me there are a ton of Cnd mixes that I could make!!
