Comment:

Is it too early to be Nostalgic for the 90s? I figured i'd get a jump on those fuckers at Rhino Records who put all those damn 80s New Wave Compilations out before they put out a 90s comp and i stupidly buy it. That's when I'll know I'm old. Ahh..the days of "Alternative" Rock Radio, before college, before TRL took over the world. I was surprised how long it had been since i listened to alot of these songs. they seemed fresh. i loved making this tape. it rules.

Semisonic's got much better songs than "Closing Time." I'd go for "Singing in my Sleep."

I'm 18. This doesn't feel like it's old at all! I listen to most of these songs on a daily basis. But really, great mix!!

These songs were mainly junior high for me. As I look through the list I can sing almost every one and remember hearing them on the radio. I downloaded "sucked out" recently and was surprised at how much I still loved it and how it made me nostalgic for that era. You forgot the refreshments though! That band would be perfect on this tape.

This couldn't be better. Some I'd forgotten altogether, some I've rediscovered, and some I never stopped listening to religiously...
