I was 11 and on my way to a Yankee-Twins doubleheader at the stadium on this Sunday afternoon. These were the top picks from WABC Radio at the time. Makes for a good road tape. BTW, I remember only that Mudcat Grant pitched in one of the games and Tom Tresh played 3b.

Re: Mudcat Grant, in 1970-71 he had a set of muttonchops that would put Justin Currie of Del Amitri to shame !
