Comment:
I'm in a good mood now, so it was a bit hard compiling this list. I may end up updating it later.Feedback:
If you really need a depressing Cure song, go with "Cold", alot of inner turmoil going on with the band and Robert Smith at that time, and you can hear it and feel it in this song.
I was going to go with "Cold", but I think "Hanging Garden" appeals to a primal sadness that all of us have experienced at one time or another. (whoa I sound like I should be penning crapy poetry in some dark basement somewhere!)
"Spies" as song of choice? I personally find "Amsterdam","Trouble", and others much more sad Coldplay songs. I also don't like that Outkast song on there. I can't even think of a sad Outkast song to begin with. Other than that, not a bad list.
I guess "Spies" is kinda my own personal sad song from Coldplay. As to "She lives in my Lap", just listen to the song, it is cooollllddd. Thanks for the constructive criticism, though!
lotta good fitting songs here. esp. luv the smiths, bunnymen, & kenna tracks. Luv the Cure track, but I also agree about the "Cold" comment too. I really like "Spies" too.
