Comment:

A mix disc tribute to my Simpsons-geekiness. "Smithers, have the Rolling Stones killed." has got to be the funniest thing ever said on television. Also, since there wasn't enough room on the page, the end of the disc also includes The Ramones' "We're a Happy Family" (track 31) and Sonic Youth's version of the end credits theme (track 32).

What? No Grand Funk Railroad? What about the shirtless antics of Mark Farner? The Bong rattling bass of Mel Schacher? The competant drumming of Don Brewer?

I have to agree on the Grand Funk refererance. Also, what about "Do the Bartman".

I would have like to have seen Paul McCartney's secret recipe for Lintal Soup as well.

Hey, none of the songs I picked out have any actual connection to the show, but your suggestions are great. The next mix will have more relevant-to-the-show's-script selections...don't know if I can get a backward version of "Maybe I'm Amazed" though.

I'd like to see the Osaka Seafood Loyalty song on here- 'Knife goes in, guts come out...' Excellent stuff this. My brother would like it, he's a Simpsons freak.
