Comment:
This whole mix is expressly to showcase Bobby Darin's unbelievable "Artificial Flowers".Feedback:
Nice theme mix. I've never heard that Odds track, but I'm curious, as ever. Naturally, I would've included Pearl jam's "Garden" on here; probably Marilyn Manson's "Slut Garden" as well. However, I think they would be out of place here. The potential for this theme is endless, + you started it off well. Out.
This mix is truly one of your best, well, one of my favorites. The flow is darn near perfect and the choices are wonderful. The Statler Bros, "Flowers on the Wall" could work with this theme, but there's only so much room to fit on a CD. Whatta cool mix, NoV!
nice
Yup, U Hag..I heartily agree with Minnesota Sorta Nice..this is definitely one of your best and I'm hopin you get more comments...I would like this one with my sex one if that is ok with u and I recommend this mix to whoever is guest Editor as a contender for Mix of The Week!!! Good Job.
Gee, thanks, D!
The fecundity of this mix is magical.
There was a 4 cd set released not too long ago-every cd had a song about flowes in it.If you wanna do a sequel to this mix-the compilation is called infernal proteus.I gotta warn you-it's all gothic.
"maybe / i don't really wanna know / how your garden grows..." kinda nice mix though
There is sooooooo much to recommend on this mix that I don't know where to start. I am a major fan of Johnny Cash, Ray Charles, Marty Robbins, Bobby Darin, the Rolling Stones, Peter Gabriel, and Bessie Smith, and these tracks not only fit the theme, they are not better known songs of the artists -- always a plus! That song by Brother Ray, by the way, melts my heart! And that Jaynettes tune is one of the best girl group songs ever. This is excellent!Cruella, you can tend my garden any time!
