a few weeks ago, i was djing and dropped explosions in the sky at the end of the night as the dancing-is-over song. a girl ran up to me and asked what it was. so we got to talking and she ended up borrowing some records. when i called her back to get them back, we talked for a while and she came over to drop them off. i'd been playing black heart procession and she asked what it was. then she asked for a tape. this is it. since i barely know her, i just wanted to include bands that i thought she'd like (based on other bands we'd talked about). i didn't want to make an i-like-you mix and end up scaring her off. i hope she likes it.
