i actually had a lot more trouble with this mix than i thought i would. i tend to have a prejudice against songs about superman because they tend to suck (five for fighting? gag.) but laurie anderson always comes through in the end. i tried to stay away from all of those weird songs about the lord of the rings because they worry me. i would love some more suggestions so feel free to post any songs i happened to miss. title comes from the pixies' song

mrs. robinson isn't a superhero... unless by superhero you mean manipulative slutty bitch... that song was written for the 1967 film "the graduate", starring anne bancroft and dustin hoffman.

i was sad too. he was a pretty awesome guy. have you ever seen the documentary about him? crazy. anyways, the mix wasn't about superheroes, but fictional characters so mrs. robinson does fit. most of these characters aren't superheroes...
