Comment:

The first of a two-volume set. Enough's been said about Hendrix (whom I realize is not the most revolutionary pick for a single-artist set), so I won't bother with exposition. Last tracks cut: "1983... A Merman I Should Turn to Be", "Freedom", and "Remember."

I worship in the church of one Monsieur Hendrix, so this gets a definite thumbs up from moi. Still remember the first time I heard Voodoo Child (Slight Return)it changed my musical tastes for ever. Check out my mix 'Wake up in the morning & found myself dead.'

Faultless. Jimi is one of my five favourite artists (The others being Dylan, Beatles, Stones & Elvis Presley), so anything you pick of his is fine by me. Echoing once again what Steve says.

Hmm, I like him, but don't love him. We're a little more platonic, I guess. This is a damn fine mix, though.

Awesome, I love Hendrix. I never get tired of Crosstown Traffic or Foxey Lady. Fantastic pre funk masterpieces.
