this is a tape for my dear frienda, brenda. i am visiting her right now in nyc actually. and we are both getting ready to go different places. she liked the tape. and so i am curious i guess. i said i would never use this, btw. haha.

i got into junior senior just after i made this. so the tape has a lot of junior senior things all over it. just no songs. which would have been perfect considering this was originially supposed to be a dance tape. um. the filler at the end of side one and the beginning of side two is just me reversing and reversing and slowing down and speeding up my fabulous sounds of the pacific northwest 7". the filler at the end of side two is the part on mt. eerie by the microphones where the drumming just first comes in from the long foghorn intro. i did the same sort of playing around with this lp too. let's see. oh. the two death cab songs are actually songs 8 and 9 on something about airplanes. i was originally just going to put amputations, but they go so well together. so. i had to.
