I like the way it flows, and shows how all good music is connected. I'm so sick of the fact that far too many people only listen to one or two genres of music. And that far too many people won't give either music that's more than a few years old the time of day, or won't give music that's not twenty years old or more the time of day.

great! except WHY "take up thy stethoscope and walk"? it's far from the best song on the album, and even though i'm not big roger waters fan, it's far from the best he's written. oh, and my friend goo wouldn't be my choice for sonic youth. all the other choices are are a-grade, tho!

While "best" is a subjective term we can all agree and disagree on. I will agree that Barrett is far more enjoyable to me. That said, sometimes the "best" songs don't always have to be the choice on the mix. A nice sonic flow, time limits and what not can be other factors. By know means was I saying that is the greatest Floyd or Sonic Youth song. I don't cringe upon hearing them and happen to like them.

Classic. Excellent. Phil Ochs lives.
