Comment:

So I was searching through the site earlier this week and I came across a mix by 'My Savage Guitar' & there was a comment by 'Ruhtrasven' basically asking for him/her to do a mix with the first 10 feelings. The final 7 are my own categories. I t was fun to make but would have preferred Floyd's Echoes for the opener cos I still remember the first time I heard it as a kid, I had head phones on lying in bed and it spooked me big time but the tracks too long of course. Also thought of The End by The Doors but thought this Floyd track less obvious. Other tracks which inspire me to pass comment are the Grieg track which is totally uplifting and where else would you find such a composition followed by a stoners track? Of course for the Barber track (think Platoon) At the end of the day, guess I've got too much time on my hands. Oh yeh the mix is on cd by the way but I thought this way you'd all see what I was getting at easier.

I don't agree with some of what he says, but Hicks is damn funny. Love the Stone Roses and the Neil Young. Good stuff.

Really nice choices French... particularly Adagio for 'helpless'. I get that but I wouldn't have thought of it!

Nope the Adagio is the original but I've got that Wlliam Orbit interpretation.

Interesting choice for hope, and I would have to agree with you. Just hearing that lifting flute part at the beginning gets me looking up. Good choices all (esp Adiago). Cheers! -Famous.
