The political landscape of this country at the moment disgusts me. And not in a knee jerk liberal disgust of anything right of the center. A truly deep and abiding sadness. A sadness because half of this country seems to think the War on Terror is going well. Or that the vast majority of people in this country are against same sex marriages. Or that we don't mind that George Bush is a no good fucking puppet manipulated by even worse liars. Or that John Kerry is a born politician that I find hard to trust. Or that Ralph Nader is a stupid, senile old bastard. With respect to all those men and their actual accomplishments, I must say that I can't help but thinking WE CAN DO BETTER. So I'm sending this CD to all three Presedential candidates. I sure hope they like it! Somehow I doubt it! In other news, girls are frustrating!

It is beholden upon those of you who do not buy the rampant bullshit you are being spoonfed to raise up and let your voices be heard. You have the unique ability in this country to enact social change simply with the end of the complacent apathy that afflicts us. What we do does not make a difference. That is what we have been conditioned to believe. You know what I say? I say FUCK THAT. In this particular government, the only way that multiple parties would work out is if the percentage of votes they get would reflect the percentage of representation they get in both sides of the legislative branch. Not likely to happen and so you are correct. It is sad..and your mix and your sentiment are right on..
