I grew up many years ago in Reno, Nevada and although I haven't been back in years, I've always taken note when it's mentioned in a song. Jerry Garcia set out from there, Johnny Cash killed a man there, and Tom Waits walked down Virginia Avenue. I know the Waylon Jennings song isn't about the city-but what the heck. A couple of songs are just there because they are from Reno bands.

My folks live in Reno and last weekend I spent my time in St. Louis cheering on the University of Nevada-Reno Wolf Pack in the Sweet Sixteen. Yep... Let me know what you might want of mine re: a trade for this classic mix.

Great idea, and one that works out well. Luck (?) would obviously have it that some tasteful people have mentioned Reno in song.
