Comment:
the theme of this mix for me sometimes toggles between comfort and depression and nostalgia. all of the songs on here have a warm quality about them, whether it is the production or the memory attached to the song for me. i listened to it a lot in the winter and so it also reminds me of that in addition to the individual memories the songs hold for me.Feedback:
i think i know what you mean about the "warm quality" - i could listen to "jesus etc" forever and never get tired of it. "sylvia plath" and "have you forgotten?" are great, too. good job.
I like it I like it. Nice mix of genres and styles here.. RHP, Braid, Hum and the Dead on the same mix.. nice work. Which version of the RHP song did you use. I recently discovered through another mix that there's a slower version on the VANILLA SKY soundtrack.. it's very nice.
i used the version off "songs for a blue guitar." i haven't actually heard the mix on the 'vanilla sky' soundtrack... although i did notice it was on there. thanks for the kind words.
