Comment:

Songs for a trip up to New York City a couple weeks ago. This is generally my first "real" mix so you'll have to excuse some of the cliches(coughrhapsodycough) and it still needs some work with some songs that don't mend well with the CD. Songs range from those directly about NY(Strokes, Pogues, Decemberists, etc.), to those from songs that sound LIKE New York to me(Clash, Talking Heads, Morrison, BDB, Divine Comedy) to songs from bands from New York(Walkmen, Strokes) to songs that have no right to be on a mix about ANY city(Nick Drake) and plenty of songs I'd have to go on and on explaining the relevance and relatability to NY(Spiritualized) and of course, the token Billy Joel closer.

Hope you can enjoy my entry into the mix world.

Nice mix. Tracks 13-16 look like they'd go especially well together.

Hey, thanks everyone. And Chris, I'm definitely editing it to include a track from Wicked, maybe switch it around to a "Remember NYC" mix.

if you're going to duplicate a band it might as well be the strokes
