Comment:
Jes' some kee-razy monophonic sounds I've been diggin' lately. Must send some big thanks out to Gerry for tracking down some tracks so that this important disc could be compiled. Goes out to Dawn Davenport, one of the great film icons.Feedback:
Sweeeeet. I've been contemplating an all-mono mix, as there is something wrong with my system, and it's only playing out of one speaker. So I go to listen to "Sgt. Peppers" or something, and all I get is a glockenspiel coming through. I should probably get that fixed. Anyhow, great mix.
Quite brilliant, Sean. And you're most welcome. This is a definite for our next trade (soon, I hope)
Groovy stuff, man. Makes me miss the folks' old hi-fi.
Beautiful AND glorious..., MONOnuclear! (What a great Kings cut!)
Back to mono baby! Reserve a spot in my stack for this fine collection of non-stereo sounds daddy-o.
Ditto Mr McDonald, Franklin, Valis etc etc !
I agree with everyone (except AB, my stereo is playing just fine), this is fabulous.
Great, great mix...what's not to like???
What's not to like indeed! Very cool throughout. Love The Chips, Johnny Burnette, Chuck Berry and Little Richard especially.
Cool, I don't know karate but I know kee-razy!
Oh yeah, dig the Female Trouble reference too! "I better get those cha-cha heels".
I suddenly have this urge to do a little rubbernecking in the sugar shack...Great mix! And remember, the girl can't help it, she just can't help it...
nice true lo-fi slap to gams...good go brother!
ditto all... what a great mix.
Who needs stereo, I could listen to this with both ears!
Can this be one of our next trades??
Can this be one of our next trades??
yeah - great stuff all around - you still got the touch! hope yer doin' alright
Thanks, kids. Sadly, I have a confession to make - the Leiderhosen Lucile track is in stereo, not mono. It's such a great song that I had to use it here.
Yummy!
Yabba-dabba-doo! More greatness from the Lally-man!
