This is a reworking of a cassette I did several years ago. I guess I liked the job I did on the tape, because 13 of the songs from it made it to the CD version.
I used a rather broad definition of "foolishness" & included aspects such as trickster figures & simple luck. (And "My Hero, Zero" is a direct reference to The Fool card from tarot decks & it's number 0.)
Elvis Costello is rather heavily represented with 3 songs, and I considered a fourth: his cover of the Grateful Dead's "Ship of Fools."
