my attempt to make a Beasties mix without using songs from Paul's Boutique and varying the degrees on the Anthology..it came out pretty good. The title is mentioned in songs 4&5 by Mike D. I had to create a new account because it seems I am locked out of my old mixername of David Blevins..what the hell.Feedback:
Did you skip Paul's becasue you don't like it or do you like it so much you felt you overused it and wanted something fresh? It's my fave BB album. Nice mix, but this makes me want to make my own best-of as well, becasue no matter what you put on you're gonna leave off something great!
Paul's is my favorite too..but I overused it and I was attempting to make a good Beastie mix without resorting to Paul's Boutique since we all know how great that album is.
I echo what Dale said about this making me want to do my own BB mix!(Personally my favourite is Check Your Head but that's an aside.) You have some really interesting picks on here - I like the stretch of the last 5 a lot, and the opening is also great.
