Beautiful...I tried something similar not longh ago. The mix I made entitled "What's So Funny 'Bout Peace Love and Understanding" has lines in it that were strung together with other thoughts for a soul searching letter to my girlfriend. I love the songs you've chosen here (esp. the Cat Power), and raise a glass for a job well done. Cheers! -Famous.
