Comment:

[Somewhat] Inspired by the movie.
I don't know if he could or not. I haven't seen, nor can I find the film as yet. Please don't tell me any plot details!
Bowman the Showman offhandedly challenged me to do this mix, and so I read a very brief synopsis on the movie and this is what I came up with.

Superb, those who have seen this freaky film could dive right into this wickedness of pleasures. Bud Cort is on of the most underated actors of our time, but we all know that by know. Good job Nest Of Vipers.

I don't think I've ever seen this movie...will have to check the IMDB. (Great cover art. Icarus.) I thought of a track I rarely think of, when I saw the title: the Kinks- (Wish I Could) Fly Like Superman...

Interesting mix. I haven't seen the movie either, but it sounds like an in interesting premise. Another song I was thinking could work is "Flying" by Badfinger. The only problem is that the song immediately before it flows right into it, so it would be hard to separate them.

Miss Cruella, I am relistening to this wonderful mix this morning while at work, and I can't get this silly smile off my face. (My secretary is beginning to think I'm nuts!)So much to like on this: that opening track sets just the right mood for the great stuff to come. I love the diversity of artists (Nat King Cole! Pink Floyd! XTC! Buffalo Springfield! etc.!) -- but that's always your strong suit. Makes me want to strap on some wings and jump out of my office window!
