That's the way a Burns Mix should be for me...a quarter known and the rest like strange exotic candies in a glass jar placed out of reach...great stuff, Sir!!
Yay!! I don't often get the chance to be the first to comment on one of your mixes, Curtis. This looks stupendous, my friend. I love the Stevie, Nels Cline, Shuggie Otis, Deerhoof, Animal Collective and Wilco tracks, especially.
Though I dunno 'bout 1/2 of this, I'm sure it sounds great, as usual. Love the Tall Dwarfs, Ubu, Gladys, Wyatt, Alison & Tortoise picks, 'specially.
singapore sling wow, how did you hear about them ?
great mix as always
great mix as always
Great one two punch to start it off with. I also dig the Blues Magoos-Daniel Johnston-Residents combo. And of course the Tall Dwarfs is top drawer.
The stretch of the last 5 or so is great - love the Tortoise and Floyd picks too!
CAPS off for this!

Looks really good. :)
very cool.
Another phenomenal mix, Mr. Burns.
many props. great stuff, especially 15-22, truely inspired.
Everybody needs some Singapore Sling to cap it off!
People seem to love your shit, man... A lot of the time someone can throw together some random obscure shit and get a lot of praise, but I think this one works real well.
